Scholarship Program

Awards . Three scholarships, each in the amount of $1500, are awarded annually. Each award is to the student's college, university, junior college or technical trade school of choice. The only stipulation is that the institution be accredited. Two of the scholarships are named in honor of former coaches Eugene Williamon and Richard Madden.
Who is Eligible . Each applicant must be a current enrolled senior student of White Plains High School. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 is required.
Selection Criteria. Recipients qualify through a response to specific criteria. Applications are obtained from White Plains High School.Or, download at Scholarship Applications.
Award Process. Each application is evaluated is by our scholarship committee. A numerical score, based on pre-defined criteria, is assigned each application. Awards are in order from the highest to lowest score.
Each awardee will be notified prior to the senior awards day. All awardees are formerly honored at an awards banquet. Scholarship funds, in two installments, are deposited in the student's financial account at his or her institution of choice.
Note.: Our policy is that an application will not be accepted after the submit date identified on the application form.
